One year old cake smash

Here’s a look at two one year old cake smash photo sessions sharing the same theme. I fell in love with this outdoor setup and when I showed Adley’s mom some gallery photos from Harper’s session she loved them too! So, here’s a look at both girls sessions.

Harper

I’ve known Harper’s mom and dad for a few years. We are in the same BUNCO group. (don’t know what BUNCO is? Find out here)

I was so excited when they asked me to capture Harper’s newborn pictures. Her dad is a firefighter and we incorporated some of his old equipment into some photos. It was way cool!

Newborn

Then, last fall we took family photos which included their two dogs. Now, it’s Harper’s one year photos.

Family Session

We had so much fun dressing her up and playing. My dog, London, was a big hit. The biggest smiles from Harper were when London was nearby. She even managed to get London in a few of her pictures.

The milk bath! Oh My Goodness! This child loved it! Not to mention the strawberries! She had so much fun!

Adley

Adley’s story is kind of similar to Harper’s. The difference is that I didn’t know her mom and dad before I took her newborn photos. This baby is so chill! She just goes with the flow.
